Lace up to help out: Do good by buying Kosibah Creations corsets

Kosibah Creations is launching a range of couture corsets in support of Plan UK's Because I am a girl campaign. For each corset that you buy from our studios in London NW1, we will donate 10% of the purchase price in support of the campaign. Prices for the corsets start from £250. Kosibah Creations at St Andrews University

Kosibah Creations gowns, worn by students from St Andrews University, were on the catwalk as the finale of Refet Afrique's charity fashion show at St Andrews' famous Old Course Hotel on 20 Mar 2009. The gala event was a joint effort with Catwalk The World in support of the World Food Programme. Yemi Osunkoya was there in his role as goodwill ambassador for the charity. The fashion show was very well received and featured fabulous creations from two other London-based designers who are also goodwill ambassadors for Catwalk The World: Nkwo and Samantha Cole.

Kosibah Creations at Screen Nation Awards in support of Catwalk the World

As part of Yemi Osunkoya's continuing role as Goodwill Ambassador for Catwalk the World, Kosibah Creations staged a fashion show at the Screen Nation Awards ("the black Oscars") on 7th Feb 2008 at London's BAFTA. Kosibah Creations dressed Ms Josie d'Arby, the host of the show. You can see pictures of Ms d'Arby wearing the dress on Flickr.

Kosibah Creations at Asiana Bridal Show

Kosibah Creations took part in the Asiana Bridal Show 2009 on Sunday, 25th January at London's Park Plaza Riverbank Hotel, 18 Albert Embankment, London SE1. The show was very well attended and we were delighted to talk to a number of potential and former clients.

Issue 5 of Made Magazine names Yemi Osunkoya, the designer behind the Kosibah Creations label, as Man of the Moment and carries an in-depth interview about Yemi's background and inspirations on pages 96-97.

Yemi Osunkoya wins Fashion Diversity award

Yemi Osunkoya, the designer behind the Kosibah Creations label, is proud, honoured and humbled to receive Fashion Diversity's Honorary Award for Contributions to Fashion. The award ceremony took place at the London Museum on Saturday, 20 Sep 2008.
